Faridah is singer and musician in Sufirituals and concerts, a lover of God and whirling dancer. 
She works with the transformative and healing energy of different Sufi practices like Dhikr (rememberance of the 99 devine Names), Whirling Dance, Singing, and Music therapie. She is giving concerts and Sufiworkshops, usually with an invitation to whirl. 

Born and raised in Germany she converted to Islam in the age of 19, following a traditional Sufi path and teachings. By the age of 40 she met a Sufimaster from Istanbul who worked with Healing Music and who ecouraged her to serve with her voice and music in ancient Sufi Rituals such as 114 days and nights Sema (whirling dance) in Turkey, concerts and in music therapy. 
The practice of „Sema“ goes back to Mevlana Rumi who lived in the the 15th centrury in central Asia and Anatolia and who called people from all different pathes or religions to oneness.
Faridah’s music is inspired by the mystic poetry of Sufi masters such as Mevlana Rumi and Junus Emre, she transforms their verses into very personal songs with her own personal style. She also sings traditional Sufi Music. 
Her service on this planet is to hold and create a space of love, onness and healing through voice, music, dance and to remind the souls of their true home.
